Strategic Review and Refocus

EBP was retained by an American economic development organization to provide strategic consulting as the organization looked to examine its results so far and to adjust strategy going forward.

The organization was established by regional business leaders and had developed a 10-year plan of action.  Approaching year five, the organization's management board wanted to examine the results to date and determine whether strategic changes needed to take place.

EBP worked with the executive team and the advisory board to identify key stakeholders across the region and perform dozens of interviews.  Next, the team gathered insights, observations, and advice to both reflect on what had worked well and what required further attention. The final report provided the framework for adjustments in strategy and also laid a path forward for what may take place after the initial 10-year period.
