EBP Assists with Federal Rail Grants-Due Nov. 29, 2021

USDOT’s Consolidated Rail Infrastructure and Safety Improvements (CRISI) grant program Notice of Funding Opportunity was issued in September.

The program provides discretionary funding for freight and passenger rail system improvements -- with a focus on addressing safety, emissions, energy efficiency, and disadvantaged communities, plus intermodal connectivity. The $362 million in grant funds include set-asides for rural and for passenger rail. Application requirements include a formal (Benefit-Cost Analysis (BCA.)

EBP has extensive experience supporting grant applications with BCA and other economic impact analysis services; since the inception of the original TIGER grant program, EBP has helped applicants win close to $200 million in grant funds.
