EDR Group Helps Applicants Win Discretionary USDOT Grants

EDR Group provides benefit-cost and economic impact analysis, along with technical advisory services on winning applications for the US Department of Transportation's (USDOT's) various infrastructure grant programs.

The BUILD Grants program supports road, rail, transit, and port infrastructure projects across the country.  In the latest round of awards announced on December 11, 2018, US Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao announced $1.5 billion in discretionary BUILD grant funding to 91 projects in 49 states and the District of Columbia.

In this latest round of awards,  EDR Group assisted two organizations in successful grant applications::

In past rounds of earlier BUILD, INFRA and TIGER grants, EDR Group also had consistent success stories among the applicants that it helped. EDR Group is widely recognized for its ability to conduct Benefit Cost Analysis (BCA) in a manner that is clear, consistent, and in accordance with federal guidelines (i.e. USDOT BCA Guidance for Discretionary Grant Programs and in reference to OMB Circulars A-4 and A-94) to ensure compliance with federal review standards. EDR Group also applies economic impact modeling tools where appropriate to address wider economic impacts of transportation projects. All of our grant applications are targeted to support the specific evaluation criteria defined by each Notice of Funding Opportunity, and are tailored to the unique societal and economic value generated by each project.

For the new round of BUILD grants, applications are due July 15, 2019. Organizations interested in assistance from EDR Group for 2019 INFRA applications should contact awinston@edrgroup.com
