Steve Landau Presents at National Aviation System Planning Symposium

The symposium provided a forum for industry experts to exchange ideas and information relative to ways to improve existing aviation planning processes to address the critical issues in the coming decades. Landau served as a panelist for the "Aviation Workforce Resiliency" session, Wednesday 5/17, at 10:30am. 

The "Great Resignation" experienced since the COVID-19 pandemic has had an adverse effect on the aviation industry.  Attracting and retaining talent has been a major challenge in all areas of aviation. This session addressed solutions and ideas to strengthen the aviation workforce based on experience and insight from aviation subject matter experts. This session also addressed the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and how to attract talent from underprivileged and minority communities.
