Atlanta Airport Economic Impact Study 2014

For the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), EBP (formerly EDR Group), under subcontract to Ricondo Associates, updated the economic impact study previously conducted in 2006 and 2010 to document the airport's contribution to the regional economy and tax base.  EBP conducted a broad study of the economic contribution of the airport to the economies of metro-Atlanta, Georgia and the Piedmont Atlantic MegaRegion.  The firm also developed a new economic analysis tool for current and future use by the airport, and a detailed commodity-based air cargo analysis to determine a core contribution of ATL to the goods producing sectors of Metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia and a six state region in the Southeast United States.
