The City of Atlanta, Dept. of Aviation, has relied on EBP (formerly EDR Group), together with HNTB to conduct a series of economic studies for Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The airport plays a crucial role as a driver of economic development in the southeastern United States. In addition to the residents of metro Atlanta and the state of Georgia, the airport delivers wider economic benefits to the regional southeast of the United States. In the most recent study, EBP calculated that the airport generates almost 449,000 jobs for the Metro-Atlanta region and produces $58.2 billion in business revenues.
