This set of new and expanded facilities was intended to attract new visitors and researchers in response to new programming, as well as to grow the attendance at existing venues. For the analysis, EDR Group used a multi-regional perspective when examining construction-interval activity and peak year operations impacts in terms of jobs, labor income, and gross regional product. Areas of interest were Berkshire County, the balance of the Massachusetts economy, a southwestern Vermont region, and the Albany metro area.
