MetroScan / R-TRESIS: Planning Model Integration for New South Wales

EBP is working with the University of Sydney to develop an enhanced system of economic, land use, energy and environmental policy models of the University of Sydney. This includes both the Metroscan model for the Sydney metropolitan area and the R-TRESIS model for regions of New South Wales.

The work of EBP includes development of an expanded, multi-regional version of our TREDIS model for multi-regional economic impact analysis, which will be linked to, and integrated with, the MetroScan and R-TRESIS models via an API (application programming interface).

The integrated model systems will be then be tested in real world use via an analysis of economic impacts of a proposed new regional fast train system.
