EBP US CEO Peter Plumeau and Frank Bruns, Senior Economist with EBP Switzerland, recently co-authored an article on “Planning Transport Investments in the Post-COVID Period,” published in the European journal Strasse und Verkehr (Road and Traffic).
Building on presentations Peter and Frank gave at the March 24, 2021, World Road Association (PIARC) webinar on EBP’s recent experience, the article discusses how scenario planning can help mitigate some of the uncertainty around transportation investment decision-making and provides insights on the role of such investment in supporting post-COVID economic recovery and addressing broad equity needs.
