For a vehicle manufacturing company (a long-term client), the EBP team was asked to assist in developing a configuration strategy for their operations in the American Southeast.
Our team worked with both corporate and local management to better understand labor and headcount needs, facility requirements, logistics requirements, supply chain constraints, and compared this to the company's current real estate portfolio.
Through interactive modeling, targeted regional interviews with similar companies, and discussions with corporate management, the company was able to develop a location strategy that consolidated two operations in a new location that provided adequate workforce, streamlined operations, and provided room for forecasted growth. The company is currently in the process of implementing the plan.
