Supporting Rural Communities Through Clean Transportation Investments

EBP was engaged by a major nonprofit environmental organization to research how rural areas can reap economic benefits from various types of transportation initiatives proposed to help address climate change.

The study identified rural investment options that can be implemented as part of the the proposed Transportation and Climate Initiative (TCI) - an agreement involving 13 northeast and mid-Atlantic states. A white paper documented qualitative and quantitative analysis to demonstrate how various investments can address goals including greenhouse gas reduction, economic development, and improved transportation connectivity in rural areas.
