Economic Contribution of Singapore Seletar Airport to the Economy of Singapore
For a civil aviation authority in Asia and in partnership with ICF SH&E, EDR Group (now EBP US) conducted an economic contribution analysis of a civilian airport in Asia.
EBP US was responsible for developing an economic impact analysis of the airport, an analysis of how the airport contributes to the competitiveness of the country, and projections of the future contribution of the airport. EBP US used data received from local ministries and worked with IMPLAN to develop a customized input-output model and econometric data set. Specific attention was devoted to the airport dependent industries of an adjoining industrial park and the national aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul industry.
